For some people the pure copper rings may cause their finger to turn a greenish color.  If this happens to you, just coat the ring with clear nail polish. It will not take away the strength of the magnets, and your finger will not turn colors.  It is not necessary to coat the gold and silver plated rings with clear nail polish.
